Risk Description
The fuel pump impeller's defective molding can cause the impeller to have low density, which can lead to cracking. This can result in the impeller absorbing too much fuel, deforming, and potentially causing the fuel pump to fail. This failure can lead to the engine stalling while driving or failing to start, creating a risk of accidents and injuries to vehicle occupants. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
