Risk Description
It is possible that control units were incorrectly parameterised at the assembly plant. In vehicles with additional airbags, this could lead to a situation whereby the additional airbags are not activated when required. It could also result in the ESP system making settings related to dynamic road behaviour in borderline situations that do not always coincide with the driver's expectations.
