Cosmetic sets for children was recalled on 30 May 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0571/08. Chemical risk reported by Ireland. The product poses a chemical risk because it contains excessive levels of lead :- in the orange eyeshadow in both the Super Compact Cosmetic Case (1800mg/kg) and the Boutique Bracelet (2500mg/kg),- in both the green eyeshadow (9900mg/kg) and yellow eyeshadow (7500mg/kg) in the Compact Cosmetic Case.

1) manufacturing date Dec 06; Best before June 093) manufacturing date - Jan 07; Best before June 09- Bracelet Boutique: cosmetics set with 7 parts- Super Compact Cosmetic Case: cosmetics set containing 11 eyeshadows and six lipsticks in a clear plastic case enclosed in pink cardboard and clear plastic packaging.- Compact Cosmetic Case: cosmetics set containing six heart-shaped eyeshadows in a white plastic heart-shaped palette with double-headed applicator, pink false nails, multi-coloured heart-shaped stickers, 2 lipsticks and two flower-shaped hair clasps. Again, the packaging is pink cardboard with clear plastic.
