Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because:- the section area of each of the two conductors are 0.1 mm², which is below the required 1 mm²,- after two minutes' operation at the maximum admissible load (16 A), the power cable begins to smoke due to extreme heating of the conductors, while the electrical insulation also deteriorates rapidly, which may leave the wires accessible resulting in a shock hazard and the risk of burns and smoke.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant standard IEC 20315.
