Risk Description

The hydraulic control unit (HCU) of the integrated braking system (IBS) presents a defect. This can result in the reduction of braking assistance and loss of ABS functionality leading to an increased risk of accident and therefore risk of injuries to the occupants of the vehicle. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
