Combined baby bathing/changing unit. was recalled on 12 January 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0005/07. Injuries, Suffocation risk reported by Spain. This baby bathing/changing unit presents a serious risk of trapping various parts of a child's body and the risk of choking because:- there are holes which permit entry of the 5 mm gauge with a force of less than 30 N, but not of the 12 mm gauge;- there are holes which permit entry of the 25 mm gauge with a force of less than 30 N but do not permit entry of the 45 mm gauge;- the gap remaining between the changing table (when open) and the edge of the bath permits entry of the 45 mm gauge with a force of less than 30 N and does not permit entry of the 65 mm gauge;- the changing unit folds with a force of less than 200 N, with the consequent risk of injury to the child;- during the test the plastic button on the underside of the changing table became detached with a traction force of less than 90 N, producing a small part which could give rise to choking.
