Coffee maker was recalled on 12 January 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0013/07. Electric shock risk reported by Hungary. This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- the basic insulated live core of the mains cable is pressed against sharp edges of the clip of the earth contact, thus the insulation may get damaged; - the protecting tubes of the thermal fuses are unfixed and they can get damaged; - the heating element can strain, due to inappropriate insulation (flashover occurs between the live and earthed parts).
