Risk Description

The alarm clock contains a tilt switch filled with approx. 10 µl of mercury. The user could be exposed to the mercury in the event that the product gets damaged. Mercury is one of the most hazardous environmental toxins and is a threat to the environment and, through the environment, to human health.The product does not comply with the requirements of the directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2).
