Risk Description
The cord intended to go around the neck does not have a quick release mechanism which could lead to strangulation. A small plastic label on the toy can detach easily and could cause choking. The plastic of the plastic bag is too thin which could lead to suffocation if a child plays with the plastic bag.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Recommended action

If a child is having difficulty breathing, call emergency services. Dispose of plastic packaging safely.
Who is at risk?
Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops. Infants and toddlers are at highest risk. Never leave plastic bags or soft materials in a sleeping area.
