Children’s sweatshirt was recalled on 20 April 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert 0603/12. Strangulation risk reported by Greece. The product poses a risk of strangulation:-          due to the presence of drawstrings in the neck area of the garments intended for young children -          due to the presence of drawstrings in the neck area that are too long in the garments intended for older children.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of strangulation:-          due to the presence of drawstrings in the neck area of the garments intended for young children -          due to the presence of drawstrings in the neck area that are too long in the garments intended for older children.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682

Product Description

Children’s sweatshirt in light blue or bordeaux colour. The garment has two external pockets and a hood with two drawstrings. In the chest area there is a print with the phrases “gems 46”, “est. 1846” and “little italy”. Sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years.
