Children’s sweater was recalled on 17 February 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert 0268/12. Injuries, Strangulation risk reported by Hungary. The product poses a risk of strangulation because of the presence of a drawstring in the hood, and injuries because the drawstring is made out of rubber and if the child pulls it the toggles may spring back into the eyes and face.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of strangulation because of the presence of a drawstring in the hood, and injuries because the drawstring is made out of rubber and if the child pulls it the toggles may spring back into the eyes and face. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682.

Product Description

White and red sweater for children with a hood and kangaroo pocket. The hood includes an unattached elastic drawstring with plastic toggles on the ends. The product is decorated with an inscription: "DK BEISITE Best Fashion". Size: 134
