Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because of high levels of lead and chromium in the red paint. The level of lead varied from 969 mg/kg to 1540 mg/kg. The level of chromium varied from 227 mg/kg to 350 mg/kg.The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-3.
Product Description
Red-painted metal spade with wooden handle. A warning on an adhesive label reads: "Not suitable for children under 3 years, since there is a risk of injury if used incorrectly. Children should only play with this item under careful adult supervision!"
