Risk Description
The compass contains a small amount of mineral oil of a low viscosity. It is attached on the jacket in a way that it is easy for a child to put the compass in the mouth. Viscosity of mineral oil is below 7 cSt (40°). A case were the oil was leaking from the compass when the child put the compass in his mouth (the compass was not broken) has been detected. Mineral oils of low viscosity can cause, even in low amounts, severe lung damage if swallowed, e.g. chemical pneumonia.
