Risk Description

The product has elastic drawstrings in the hood, which could become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to strangulation. The elastic drawstrings could also be pulled by the child and they may bounce back hitting the child's eye and face.The product does not comply with the relevant standard European standard EN 14682.

Recommended action

Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund. Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.

Who is at risk?

All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
