Risk Description
The slats may become detached and create an opening. The limbs, head or neck of the child may get trapped and the child may consequently suffer injuries, or strangulation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with European standard EN 716-1.

Recommended action
Entrapment: Stop using the product. If someone is trapped, do not force the body part free — call emergency services if needed. Contact the retailer for a return. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund. Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.
Who is at risk?
Young children are most at risk of entrapment injuries. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
