Product Description

Wadded, hooded children’s coat. The hood can be taken off by means of a zip fastener. There is an elastic drawstring with plastic toggles on the hood.

About this risk

Injuries: This product has a design or manufacturing defect that can cause physical injuries such as cuts, bruises, fractures, or other bodily harm during normal use. Strangulation: This product contains cords, strings, loops, or other elements that can wrap around a child's neck and cause strangulation.

Recommended action

Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund. Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
