Children's bicycle – BMX red 12" was recalled on 27 April 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0361/07. Injuries risk reported by Belgium. This product poses a risk of falling and thus injuries because:- the handlebar brakes in two places after 84000 cycles in the anti-phase fatigue test;- the fork breaks at the weld after 11647 cycles in the fatigue test;- it is not possible to obtain the load indicated in the standard (300 N) in the vertical and horizontal static test on the seat; the maximum load of 220N was achieved with difficulty and the seat deformed during the vertical load test; - in the vertical and horizontal static test on the stabilisers, the longitudinal load test produced permanent deformations of 45 and 25 mm.
