Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 5% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 8% by weight of di-"isononyl" phthalate (DINP). Moreover, inside the plastic material there is a liquid which contains 50% ethylene glycol (1,2-etandiol), thus there is a risk of poisoning if a child chews on the plastic necklace and swallows this liquid.The product does not comply with the Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC.
