Charger for mobile phone was recalled on 3 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1079/08. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of electric shock because : - the construction of the converter does not comply with the requirements on safe separation of a primary winding from a secondary one, - there is no reinforced insulation between the output connector and mains plug for double insulation, - there is no interference between clearances, creepage distances and insulation resulting in appearance of line voltage on the output connector, - the name-plate does not carry marking for type nor input power.
