The product poses a risk of cuts because:- the chain braking time is not sufficient and therefore the chain brake may fail to prevent the operator being struck by the running chain in the event of kickback occurring;- the cold start button can be inadvertently pressed in whilst the operator is using the chainsaw with the engine running, causing the chain to start running unexpectedly.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of cuts because:- the chain braking time is not sufficient and therefore the chain brake may fail to prevent the operator being struck by the running chain in the event of kickback occurring;- the cold start button can be inadvertently pressed in whilst the operator is using the chainsaw with the engine running, causing the chain to start running unexpectedly.The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 11681.
