Chain for soother was recalled on 27 June 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0680/08. Choking, Cuts, Suffocation risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of :- suffocation as the ventilation holes are not situated at the minimum distance from the edge of the fastener,- choking because the silver-plating can come off the fastener at a force of less than 90 N,- cuts because more than 50% of the silver-plating area can be easily broken and reveal sharp edges.

Risk Description

Product Description
Three chains for soothers with silver-plated fasteners. One fastener has a picture of a horse (model 4MO-DH004B), one a picture of a bear with a baby's bottle (model 4MO-DH001B) and one has a picture of a fawn (model 4MO-DH003B).
