Risk Description
The dimension of the openable Europe plug is significantly smaller than required. Single-pole or partial insertion of a plug into the adaptor is possible. If one of the pins is inserted in a socket, the user could touch the pins of the other plug.Furthermore, the product has a protection class II plug and therefore no earth connection. However, an appliance of protection class I (which should be earthed) may be connected to the device and would consequently not be earthed.The user could consequently receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60884 and EN 60950.
