Risk Description
The product should be assembled by the users, hence there are accessible live parts; there are no clear safety indications regarding the safety of accessible live parts, or how these can go live. Furthermore, the internal basic insulated conductors are in direct contact with accessible unearthed metal parts. Also, when changing the lamp, the protective glass has to be removed and the internal conductors must be twisted, and could break. A user could receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and with the European standard EN 60598-1.
