Carbon Monoxide Smoke Detector was recalled on 17 April 2026 under EU Safety Gate alert SR/01136/26. Asphyxiation risk reported by Poland. The product is not sufficiently sensitive with respect to detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and poses a risk of CO poisoning in that a person may inadvertently be exposed to CO trusting that the product functions correctly.

Risk Description

The product is not sufficiently sensitive with respect to detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and poses a risk of CO poisoning in that a person may inadvertently be exposed to CO trusting that the product functions correctly. This may lead to asphyxiation. The product does not comply with the General Product Safety Regulation nor with the European standard EN 50291-1.
