Carbon monoxide detector was recalled on 6 January 2023 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/00017/23. Asphyxiation risk reported by Poland. The product is not sufficiently sensitive with respect to detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and poses a risk of CO poisoning in that a person may inadvertently be exposed to CO trusting that the product functions correctly.

Risk Description
The product is not sufficiently sensitive with respect to detection of carbon monoxide (CO) and poses a risk of CO poisoning in that a person may inadvertently be exposed to CO trusting that the product functions correctly. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 50291.
