Risk Description
The plastic of the product has an excessive concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), notably Benz (a)anthracene (BaA), Benzo (a)pyrene (BaP), Benzo (e)pyrene (BeP), Benzo (k)fluoranthene (BkFA), Benzo (j)fluoranthene (BjFA), Benzo (b)fluoranthene (BbFA) and Chrysene (CHR) (measured values: 94.4 mg/kg, 127.4 mg/kg, 93.1 mg/kg, 6.8 mg/kg, 7.4 mg/kg, 19.4 mg/kg, 48.2 mg/kg by weight respectively). These PAHs may cause cancer and are also mutagenic and toxic for reproduction. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
