Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:· a cable clamp to avoid tension in the conductors is not provided;· the rated current for the plug (2.5A) is lower than the rated current of the reel (10A);· it has an inbuilt mains plug which does not comply with the requirements.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 61242.

The product in question is a cable reel with a 5-metre capacity for domestic use, with a lead of 2 x 0.75mm. It is packaged in a cardboard box.
