Risk Description
The bird and butterfly brooches have an excessive concentration of cadmium (measured values: 88 % and 41 % by weight, respectively). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer. The products also have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: up to 46 % by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
