The product releases an excessive amount of nickel (measured values: up to 7.9 μg/cm²/week) and contains an excessive amount of cadmium (measured values: up to 87% by weight). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones, and it may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
