Risk Description
The amount of nickel released by the bracelet is too high (2,0 µg/cm²/week). Nickel is a sensitizer and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. Nickel release, from products with prolonged skin contact, above the limit set by the REACH legislation, is assessed to pose a serious risk to the people already sensitized nickel, and to increase the risk of sensibilization of more people in the population.The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
