Box of rattles was recalled on 3 February 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert 0181/12. Choking risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of choking because the yellow star can easily break into small parts that could be put into the mouth and swallowed by a young child; the crab has long parts that could get stuck in the mouth of children unable to sit up unaided.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of choking because the yellow star can easily break into small parts that could be put into the mouth and swallowed by a young child; the crab has long parts that could get stuck in the mouth of children unable to sit up unaided.The product does not comply with the Toys Safety Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
