Risk Description
The plastic material of the product contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 0.29% by weight). and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value 17% by weight).These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. In addition, the valve plug can be easily detached from the toy and could be put in the mouth by a small child, causing choking. The batteries are easily accessible and could cause choking if put in the mouth or damage the organs if swallowed. The plastic bag, in which the toy is packed, is too thin. A child could put it over the mouth and nose, leading to suffocation.The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European Standards EN 71-1 and EN 62115.
