Risk Description
The product contains an excessive amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs); notably benzo[e]pyrene (BeP), benzo[a]anthracene (BaA), chrysen (CHR) and benzo[b]fluoranthene (BbFA) (measured values: 2.49 mg/kg, 1.27 mg/kg, 11.25 mg/kg and 1.28 mg/kg respectively).These PAHs may cause cancer, are suspected to be mutagenic and are very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
