Risk Description
In vehicles fitted with a DV5 diesel engine, the NOx sensor may not have been properly tightened during installation. This may allow exhaust gases to enter the engine compartment and could result in visible exhaust fumes around the engine area, overheating of nearby components, a risk of fire, and increased NOx emissions. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
