Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the legs of the surfer contain 21.5% by weight of di-"isononyl" phthalate (DINP).According to the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, the permitted limit value for certain phthalates in toys is 0.1% by weight.

Toy surfboard set, comprising a white plastic surfboard, 20 cm long, a battery-operated orange plastic propellant for attaching under the surfboard and a plastic surfer, 9 cm high. The surfer's head and limbs are made of soft plastic and are mobile. The surfer has imitation black hair and green shorts. The product is blister packed with a label.
