Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because:- the cadmium levels exceeding the maximum permitted concentration of 100 mg/kg (Plastic bag: 539 mg/kg and handle: 189 mg/kg);- the phthalate levels exceeding the maximum permitted concentration of 0.1% by weight.The contents of DEHP in the toys exceed the permitted limit laid down by the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC. The products pose a serious risk for the health of a child.
