Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the artificial leather contains 23% by weight (limit: 0.1% by weight) of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). With baby shoes, a regular contact of the child with the parts that contain the plasticiser, and even a mouthing contact, is foreseeable. Babies regularly take objects into their mouth and may suck on shoes or textiles.

One pair of baby shoes, size 3-6 months, made of textile and plastic materials, with textile uppers. Basic colour dark blue, with white and blue stripes on toes and around ankles and red heel seam; embroidered decorative red and blue circle motif on the side; lining of white textile material; sole of white textile material with white plastic protrusions; white and dark blue artificial leather strip running around circumference.
