Risk Description

During self-feeding, the baby is not able to control the flow of fluid. The fluid will continue to flow even if the baby is not swallowing. This can/will lead to choking. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive.

Product Description

A grey coloured soft pillow that can be placed around an infant's neck. A net mesh bottle holder is in place at one end of the product for the purpose of holding a bottle in place hands free. Product sold online, in particular via Amazon, ASIN: B09MDXPMWB.

This recall involves a choking hazard related to Baby self-feeding pillow.

About this risk

This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
