Baby carrier was recalled on 21 March 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0343/08. Choking, Injuries, Suffocation risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of suffocation, choking and injuries because:- the minimum size of the leg openings should not allow the test sphere to pass through completely,- one of the white buttons comes off during the tensile test, generating small pieces,- the belts on the system for fastening to the carer must be at least 40mm wide.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of suffocation, choking and injuries because:- the minimum size of the leg openings should not allow the test sphere to pass through completely,- one of the white buttons comes off during the tensile test, generating small pieces,- the belts on the system for fastening to the carer must be at least 40mm wide.In addition the user instructions lack important safety instruction.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN-13209.

Baby carrier in yellow, orange and red fabric. The central, yellow part features the mark 'X-BABY'. It is also available in shades of blue.
