Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it becomes completely deformed when placed in boiling water. The bottle should withstand the boiling process, which is part of the normal use for this kind of article. In this case, the material is not stable and could give rise to phenomena of migration of plastic into foodstuffs, loss of accurate volumetric markings due to deformation and the accessories possibly losing strength and breaking over time. The product does not comply with the European standard EN 14350

Transparent plastic baby's bottle with a green lid. The teat is loose inside the bottle. Packed in a transparent plastic bag (along with another bottle and a cleaning brush) closed with a cardboard strip. The label carries the following information: "Baby Plastic Bottle and Nipple". Made in China. The numbers 88880641 appear on a white adhesive label. It carries no information concerning the distributor and there are no safety or maintenance instructions.
