Risk Description

The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 186.5 mg/kg dimethylfumarate (DMF) in lining and the insole.Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.

Product Description

Babies’ shoes of brand „JUMBO BEBE”, bar code 0267805000035, item № HY – 5563-6-12, intended for children aged 6-12 months, with cords and decorations made of beads and a textile rose attached to the upper. There are pictograms indicating the types of the materials used for the main parts of the shoes – upper made of other materials – polyurethane and textile, sole made of other materials, insole and lining made of textile, with sachets containing a dehydrating substance in the packaging.
