Risk Description
Due to improper software of the FCM ECU (Forward Collision Mitigation), camera images might be processed incorrectly and a possible collision might be detected falsely. As a result. the FCM system might operate primary braking, leading to increased risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
