Risk Description
The solders and the plastic USB part in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: up to 23% and 0.27% by weight, respectively). Lead poses a risk to the environment. Moreover, the plastic USB material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured values: 13% and 0.17% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
