Risk Description

The whole necklace can fit in the mouth and could be swallowed by a child. The beads can easily break and detach and could be swallowed by a child. In addition,the clasp does not detach easily and children may be strangled by the cord.

Teething necklace with beads threaded onto a cord, with knots between each bead and a 'screw-in' clasp; contained in a transparent plastic bag on a printed card insert.

This recall involves a choking, strangulation hazard related to Amber Necklace .

This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
