Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because an oversized ball joint stem mounting hole, and/or improperly tightened steering knuckle pinch bolts, could cause a reduction in the clamp force required to retain the ball joint stem in the steering knuckle. Reduced clamp force may not adequately retain the ball joint stem in all conditions, which can result in unwanted movement between the ball joint stem and the steering knuckle. This movement can lead to accelerated wear between the ball joint mounting stem and the steering knuckle, leading to loss of control.
