Adaptor was recalled on 8 August 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0848/08. Fire risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of fire because:- during the test, displacement of live parts occurred;- diameter of impress given balls should not exceed 2 mm whereas it is more than 5 mm;- during the glow wire test at 750ºC, a visible flame occurs and does not extinguish in 30s after removing glow wire.
