Risk Description
When driving, the rotation of the drive shaft may lead to thermal stress on the universal joint bearing pin. As a result, the mounting bush or journal cross may come loose. Moreover, the drive shaft weld could fail. A complete failure of the weld would break the drive shaft and consequently damage or destroy air hoses, cables, etc. In both cases parts may drop into traffic.
