Risk Description
A fixation nut at the end of the positive cable in the power distribution module cabin tightened with insufficient or undefined torque could come loose and leave the driver’s cab without power. This causes the engine to shut off and results in the failure of all systems powered by the engine. Only the vehicle lighting and hazard light mechanism will continue to function. The steering and service brake continue to function. However, the parking brake can no longer be applied and it is no longer possible to use the parking brake as a secondary brake. This increases the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
