Risk Description
The plastic material in the paintbrush contains an excessive amount of DEHP (di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate) (measured value: 0.45%). This phthalate may harm the health of children causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The dark brown paint contains manganese (measured value: 4777 mg/kg) that exceeds the migration limit for toys. Ingestion or inhalation of an excessive amount of manganese may harm the health of children by damaging their nervous system.The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-3.
