Risk Description
The electrical insulation of the changer is not sufficient, thus accessible parts of the product could become live, leading to an electric shock. Only one bridging capacitor was fitted across the isolation barrier. As a consequence, the charger may be unable to manage input current, the battery may be overcharged and causes fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
